“CAP JULUCA in Anguilla is in the process of being sold to Gencom, an investment and development firm. The government of Anguilla will also become a 20% owner, with 80 of the resorts 179 acres to be set aside as a national park. According to GM Hansjoerg Maissen, Cap Juluca will remain unchanged this winter season, with major renovations occurring next fall. Plans also call for the resort to be expanded from its current 70 rooms and villas to approximately 250 accommodations beginning in 2010.”
