Longtime Harper favorite Hotel Le Bristol debuted a new bar last fall. Conceived by architect Pierre-Yves Rochon and Maja Oetker, the immaculately designed space is evocative of a traditional English club, with oak floors, warm pine paneling and a crackling hearth. Head barman Maxime Hoerth won a prestigious “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Best Craftsman in France) award in the “Barman” category in 2011, while Le Bristol’s three-star chef Eric Frechon has created a dedicated bar menu of sweet and savory tapas. On a more contemporary note, Le Bar du Bristol hosts a rotating variety of modern art exhibits as well as DJs on the weekends. Please view the video below or visit here for more details.
