The property includes the palace of the maharaja of Tehri Garhwal and a restored Viceregal Palace added in 1910-11 for an expected visit by the viceroy of India. The Viceregal Suite in the Maharajah’s Palace offers fine antique furniture and a four-poster bed. Three luxurious villas provide one or two bedrooms, private pools and saunas.
