Tudor-style mansion set on 100 acres of grounds near Tanglewood, summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Twenty- one beautifully decorated guest quarters are housed within the Main House (request the “Paterson,” “Laurel” or “Crimson” Suite, or the spacious “Blue” or “Corner” Room), the Carriage House and several secluded cottages. Public areas include the Great Hall, a glass-enclosed winter garden and an ornate music salon. Chef Arnaud Cotar offers superb New American/French cuisine, served with old-fashioned elegance and formality (jacket and tie required). An outdoor pool, intimate spa, exercise room and four tennis courts comprise the principal amenities. Edith Wharton’s home, The Mount, is a few minutes away. The Norman Rockwell Museum and the Hancock Shaker Village are also close by. No children under age 12.

Carriage House, from $600; Main House Deluxe Room or Cottage, from $1,000.
Standard Inclusions:
Rates include daily full breakfast served at the restaurant or in room, spa access, Wi-Fi, valet parking, access to all activities on property, fruit and cheese tray on arrival, homemade chocolate chip cookies, either a half bottle of Champagne, red or white wine, turndown gifts, and departure bags.

"Blantyre was great in all respects. They really do go out of their way. The Taj is what it is. The rooms are tired but they gave us a nice upgrade. I don't know why I keep going back to the Four Seasons. I can't say anything bad about it but I can't say anything good either." -HK
I've been to Blantyre three times, and it just keeps getting better!!
Stayed at Blantyre for 2 nights in the Paterson Suite and the entire experience was fantastic. Impeccably clean. Beautiful, beautiful, romantic, oodles of amenities and fresh flowers and great service. Highly recommend it!
Eat at Nudel's for dinner - just 15 minutes away from the hotel -- wonderful little restaurant!
