I had the pleasure of staying at this property in early May. It is truly an incredible and unique hotel situated on the cliffs of the charming medieval town of Eze. I stayed in the junior suite named the Royal Suite, absolutely splendid with spectacular views of the Mediterranean and Provence spread out below. The gorgeous view is also enjoyed from the terrace where breakfast is served as well as from the restaurant. The staff is most gracious and professional. The hotel manager is very congenial and ensures everything is to your liking. The town itself is so charming with little restaurants tucked into the old stone structures, a church, and the Exotic Garden with an incredible collection of cactuses and Mediterranean plant life perched on the cliffside overlooking the sea. At night it is extremely tranquil with not a sound of civilization to mar your dreams. This spot will most assuredly not disappoint. I would suggest this as the last stop in a Cote d’Azur itinerary as the incredible view and location can not be surpassed.

We are just finishing a four-day stay here (late June) and have found it delightful and most relaxing. Sunny, mild (77F), gentle sea breezes. Very accommodating staff, excellent food, and gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. It is located in a small medieval village -- no cars or motorbikes. Charming shops with locally-produced goods and art are located along narrow winding walkways. An impressive garden of hundreds of cacti from around the world is a short walk away at the top of the villag. The village can get a bit crowded on weekends as tourists (including those from cruise ships in Nice) arrive for a short time.
