"Staff was delightful and helpful, but in this transition to a new owner there are a couple of tired spots on the property. Continental breakfast did not include fruit, due to low occupancy. Hot breakfasts were only available one day, and dinner never. Having said that we had a delightful time. The staff set up reservations at dinner sites, as well as fishing and golf carts, happily and promptly." --J.L.
We were there over New Year's. The new owners have done a wonderful job. Everything is fresh, spruced up, and first-rate. All the changes were thoughtfully made, without losing the Dunmore charm that has kept us coming back for 8 straight years. They have even added an outdoor fitness area and pool. The new chef (Shane Becker) is excellent, and all the old staff are still there, supplemented by some great additions (such as Henry at the bar). The property has never looked better, and we had a lively dinner there on New Year's Eve. It is, and remains, our favorite vacation spot. Kudos to the new owners.
