Harper Member Critique - Eden Rock, St. Barths
Travel Date: Jan 2010
"We had a wonderful time at the Eden Rock. The room was wonderful (except they had no handrail going up the stairs which was a bit of a problem with my bad knees) and the service excellent in the Sand Bar (also the food). We only ate at the main restaurant one night and were a little disappointed, the service was a bit slow and food not wonderful. I am a vegan and asked for stir fried vegetables (which were on the menu with another dish) but they gave me steamed instead - a bit uninspiring! We will return and would recommend it to anyone we know. We visited some of the other hotels for lunch and dinner (Gaiac at Le Toiny which we felt was a bit out of the way) and were not overly impressed with the food there so we really felt we had made the right choice. We loved the whole island, beaches, shopping etc!" --P.I.
