Updates were nicely done if a bit too cookie-cutter. Service and food at the restaurants was excellent, although service upon check-in/checkout was less impressive. The pool and outdoor Jacuzzi can't begin to handle the amount of guests the property houses on even a semi-busy weekend. The pool was comparable to one at a YMCA, filled with children and too crowded to swim (much less to avoid having nearby children splash water into my glass of wine).
The 1811 House, on the same property, was truly charming and I would assume our guests would prefer staying here for a more unique experience.
