Restored Old World mansion (formerly the summer residence of chewing gum magnate William Wrigley) crowning a hill on unspoiled Santa Catalina Island, a 50- to 75-minute catamaran ride from Long Beach or Newport Beach. Six guest lodgings (no A/C), including Grand Suite with bedroom, fireplace, living room and private patio. The "Windsor Room," with queen bed, fireplace and full bath, has a spectacular harbor view. Avoid smallish “Morning Glory” and “Garden Porch.”
