Villa-like hotel in a peaceful garden setting off the Via Tragara promenade, a short walk from Capri’s best shops, cafés and restaurants. Thirty sunny guest quarters (most Junior Suites) provide marble baths, large windows and private terraces that overlook the colorful hillside and the sea. Comfortably spare interiors are done in turquoise and white with gold accents. Assorted antiques enhance several inviting salons and an American-style bar-lounge. Amenities include a heated swimming pool with an expansive terrace, as well as a gym/fitness center. Breakfast and luncheon snack service are offered, but there is no formal dinner restaurant. Expect friendly and attentive service, including assistance with evening restaurant reservations and tennis, sightseeing and water sports. Not suitable for young children.
