Plantation-style lodge on 6,000 scenic acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean and its own world-class championship golf course. Guest accommodations are limited to 22 cottage suites situated at the edge of a semitropical woodland facing the sea and links. Each stylishly decorated unit features a separate sitting area with gas fireplace, lavish bath and scenic private veranda; request Suite #2-#10. A casually elegant lodge opens into a glass-enclosed dining room serving Pacific Rim and fresh New Zealand lamb and beef dishes. The Pebble Beach-like 18-hole golf course is highlighted by six dramatic cliffside holes, plus nine others with ocean views; excellent practice range with putting and chipping greens. Other facilities include an outdoor infinity pool, two tennis courts, three private beaches, nature trails, spa and gym. Jacket for dinner. Resort can be reached from Auckland by car (four hours), private helicopter charter or regularly scheduled air service from Auckland to Kerikeri Airport (40 minutes) with transfers (45 minutes) provided to and from the lodge.
Rates
Greens fees, from $315 (NZ$385) per person per day; caddies, carts and Callaway rental clubs also available. Suite for two, from $1,625 (Two-night minimum stay may apply). Two-bedroom Owner’s Cottage also available.
Standard Inclusions:
Rates include daily full breakfast served at the restaurant or in room, daily pre-dinner drinks and canapés, nightly gourmet dinner, non-alcoholic minibar, Wi-Fi and use of all lodge facilities excluding golf and spa treatments.
