Tranquil golf-oriented oceanfront hotel situated at the end of an avenue of live oaks on the tip of St. Simons Island, adjacent to the spectacularly renovated 18-hole championship Plantation links. Forty luxurious guest quarters have been designed to resemble an English manor house. A fine restaurant (steaks, chops, lobster), an indoor/outdoor all-day dining terrace and a convivial bar occupy the clubhouse floor, along with locker room lounges. Tee times for all three of the resort’s world-class golf courses can be reserved by guests in advance. Guests also have access to all amenities at The Cloister, including a spa, tennis facility and beach club. Avoid busy weekends.
