Modern “boutique” hotel, providing a sanctuary from the outside world, in the $11 billion CityCenter development on the Strip. The 23rd-floor lobby is a hushed space of polished black marble, subdued lighting, Asian art and serenely efficient staff. The 392 sleek accommodations, accessible only via an elevator operated with a security card, were designed by Adam Tihany in restrained shades of red, beige and gold, and offer every conceivable amenity. Stylish baths are equipped with egg-shaped soaking tubs and walk-in showers. Hotel facilities include a two-level, 27,000-square-foot spa with 17 treatment rooms and a yoga studio, as well as a magnificent eighth- floor pool deck with two lap pools and 20 cabanas. Restaurant options include a bistro for pan-Asian cuisine, and a gourmet French restaurant by three-star chef Pierre Gagnaire.
