Imaginatively conceived resort hotel amid 30 landscaped acres on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, 30 minutes south of Newport Beach. Most of the 250 accommodations feature seaview balconies, custom appointments evoking California’s Arts and Crafts movement, and lavish marble baths with oversize tubs and separate showers. An eclectic range of Early California paintings adorns the inviting five-story main building, which houses several spacious lounges and a casual indoor/ outdoor dining room; also panoramic gourmet Studio restaurant for California- influenced Modern French cuisine.
