Legendary 297-room landmark hotel near the Kowloon waterfront, overlooking Victoria Harbour. Antiques and historic artifacts are displayed in the ornate lobby lounge and other public areas. "The airport transfers by Rolls Royce was a highlight for sure! What a wonderful surprise waiting for us after a long flight to HK. The service was impeccable and the restaurants at the Peninsula were exceptional. The room was luxurious and we were upgraded on arrival. We were glad to be on the Kowloon side because all the big shopping spots seemed to be there and we could walk around during the day/night and take it all in. We went across to the Hong Kong side one night by Star Ferry and everything was very easy, but it was nice to have everything in walking distance. "

"Just to say that I was thoroughly pleased with my stay at the Peninsula Hong Kong. The staff was warm and attentive. The hotel was elegant without being stuffy. I had booked the Harborview Deluxe Room and was upgraded to the Harborview Suite - absolutely spectacular!!! Breathtaking views. Expansive, comfortable suite. As I was celebrating a birthday, I was treated one night to a personalized birthday cake waiting for me in the suite. Salon Da Ning had a funky bourdoir feel with a live band/singer. Very cool spot. Afternoon tea was, of course, very lovely. As you would expect. The spa was incredible! I had booked a two-hour spa treatment and it was such a blissful and relaxing experience that at the end of it, I requested an additional hour treatment, which they were able to check on (and accommodate) without me leaving the spa table! I very much look forward to returning to the Peninsula Hong Kong." August 2011
