The food was fabulous - service wonderful - they never said no. We will come back for more great fishing and food and relaxation. Spa too pricey.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Ranch just 3 weeks ago. We stayed in the Apache tent/cabin and it was terrific. The location is absolutely spectacular. The staff, the food and the amenities were superb. It is luxurious, yet comfortable and laid back at the same time. Do book your activities early if you are going at a busy time and try everything at least once. Jim Manley, his wife and two of their kids were there at the same time and could not be nicer. They engaged with all the guests and made you feel so comfortable in what is essentially their vacation home. We wish them much success, but do hope they keep the ranch small and friendly as it is today. We will certainly return.

We stayed at the Ranch at Rock Creek in late May during the horrible flooding. In spite of the constant rain, it was a superb experience. The staff was attentive and the food was exceptional. We have specific dietary medical requirements and the Chef made sure we ate safely and very well. The rooms were accommodating, comfortable and well laid out. We plan on returning to the Ranch in the winter.

Went to the website of this newly opened luxury guest Ranch in western Montana and it looks absolutely superb.
The maybe 25 total cabins are gorgeous, and everything is included, from airport transfers to dining to internet use.

Has anyone actually been there yet?

Dear Mr. Harper,
You are welcome.
I spoke with someone at the Lodge, and her favorite recommendations for room choices were : Bluebird, then Loft; then Lake (a canvas cabin which she said was at a very pretty point by the river) .
She said they are each close to 1,000 sq. feet in size, will get conformation for me from looking at the architectural floor plans tomorrow.

She also said flies are a problem during the summer, but usually by September they begin to lessen.

Did you ever get a chance to check out the new 20 room luxury boutique hotel by Fountaineblue in Barbizon, France called Les Pleiades?jclark2010-03-11 11:53:19
