Recently refurbished Spanish hacienda-style resort enclave 30 minutes north of San Diego in Rancho Santa Fe, an upscale residential community near Del Mar and La Jolla. "The only issue was the actual room choice. Although the hotel is AMAZING, and we will definitely stay there again, the actual room that was assigned to us was probably the least desirable for the room level that we had. We looked over the parking lot. We were also unable to be upgraded, but I believe it was because they were at 100% capacity during our stay." August 2011
