We recently made a quick trip to Jackson, Wyoming and stayed at the Rusty Parrot Lodge. It was a good choice. We overlooked the parking lot (not much of a view) but were glad we didn't overlook the street since it appears to be a shortcut through town to a major thoroughfare. We walked everywhere-the center of town is about 1/3 mile away. The staff was so helpful in their suggestions of places to eat and things to do. We did eat breakfast at the Lodge but found it expensive for someone looking for a light breakfast before heading out to explore Jackson Hole and the Tetons. The L’occitane amenities were wonderful and daily replenished. We will stay there again!

Rusty Parrot was a perfect place to stay in the town of Jackson. August 2011

We stayed at the Rusty Parrot this July. The Wild Sage restaurant was spectacular, but a little strange in that it is basically located in the lobby of the hotel (same location as breakfast and a small gift area). The room was very comfortable with nice amenities, but the hotel itself reminded me of an upscale chain. They recently added a hot tub and fire pit on one roof area but the area is extrememely small. Did not use the Spa, but a $20 credit there seemed laughable. Front desk was inconsistent. We had a early morning flight out and there was no one there to help or check us out. Good location in town, but probably will not go back.
