Beautifully appointed resort set along a 10-mile beach on private Kiawah Island, 35 minutes from Charleston. The four-story hotel contains 255 casually elegant accommodations outfitted with every conceivable amenity. “Oceanfront” units at the end of each wing directly face the sea. Public areas include a spacious bar and lounges enhanced by old portraits, carved limestone fireplaces and tall seaview windows. Dining options include a poolside grill; the casual indoor/outdoor Jasmine Porch, serving traditional Lowcountry specialties; and the formal Ocean Room, featuring New American cuisine. Complementing the glorious beach are two seaside swimming pools, a spa and fitness center with a 65-foot indoor pool, world-class tennis facilities and five championship golf courses designed by the likes of Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. Also 30 miles of biking trails, sea kayaking and marshland canoe trips.
