Singita Grumeti Reserves

Three exceptional lodges constructed on a 340,000-acre private estate adjacent to Serengeti National Park, now managed by the renowned South African Singita safari company. Sasakwa Lodge is a hilltop property in the style of an English manor house, with nine air-conditioned guest cottages featuring fireplaces, claw-foot tubs and horizon plunge pools. Grand public areas are graced by fine antiques, while lavish meals are presented with silver and crystal. Sabora Tented Camp offers nine air-conditioned tents decorated in 1920s classic safari style with Persian rugs and mahogany furniture. Faru Faru Lodge provides nine contemporary air-conditioned suites overlooking the Grumeti River (famously home to some of the world’s largest crocodiles). In addition to game drives, activities include horseback riding and hot air ballooning. There is also a small spa and fitness facility. The Great Migration of several million wildebeest, zebra and antelope passes through the Grumeti area from May through July. No children under age 10 at Sabora.
