Harper Member Critique - St. Regis San Francisco
"The St. Regis is the best property, overall, that we have experienced in San Francisco. The list includes Four Seasons, W, Ritz-Carlton, Campton Place, Stanford Court, and Mark Hopkins. We really appreciated the work of the concierge desk on our behalf and we tried to show our appreciation appropriately." - LD
Our family stayed at the St. Regis recently to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday recently, and we had an incredible stay. We did get off to a rocky start with the flowers I had pre-ordered going to the wrong room (despite my calling repeatedly to confirm arrangements). But the special wine we had shipped ahead (using Porthos, Andrew Harper's wine concierge) was chilled and stored perfectly. The concierge sent a beautiful cake to my parent's room on check in (on them), and had fruit, sparkling water and wine waiting in each room which more than made up for the oversite. The bed was incredible, the bathroom spacious, and the fitness center was very well appointed. As members, all of us received breakfast credits and enjoyed an incredible gourmet spread with impecable service. The St. Regis is simply incredible, and absolutely where you want to stay while in San Francisco!
