Charming 1798 Georgian manor house at the edge of a delightful Dorset village in Thomas Hardy country, two hours south of Bath. Twenty lavishly decorated rooms and private cottages feature luxury baths and plasma TVs, plus DVD/CD players. Request Master Bedroom #1 with two baths. Handsome parlor room with deep sofas, floral displays and log fires is ideal for superb afternoon tea. Amenities include a convivial paneled bar, an award-winning restaurant with an extensive wine cellar, a small full-service spa and fitness gym, an indoor heated pool, a manicured croquet lawn and an all-weather tennis court. Picturesque walks along miles of public footpaths, quiet country lanes, chalk-cliff coastline and inviting beaches.
