Relaxing 70-room destination resort and spa situated within 210 acres of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve overlooking Lake Travis, 20 miles north of downtown Austin. Lodgings include private decks or patios, queen-size beds, and baths with walk-in showers. Executive Chef Benjamin Baker offers a culinary menu that features seasonal organic ingredients primarily sourced from the resort’s own three-acre working farm. Adjacent to the outdoor saltwater infinity pool, a full-service spa features 11 treatment rooms, a dry sauna and a hot tub. Extensive activity schedule includes biking, hiking, meditation classes, yoga, archery, cooking demonstrations and horseback riding.

There wasn't much excitement at Travaasa. Spa treatments were great and food outstanding but other spas have more options for activities and they usually have a nighttime speaker or program. We had a great time but will probably choose a different spa next time.
