Opulent complex of 39 pool suites and villas overlooking the Andaman Sea on Phuket’s undeveloped northwestern coastline. The 2,585-square-foot air-conditioned Pool Villas are decorated in neutral tones with expanses of natural wood. Huge baths provide soaking tubs and indoor/ outdoor showers. Wonderful teak sundecks surround 30-foot private infinity pools. The resort’s dining room serves a menu of Thai and Continental cuisine; also new seafood restaurant. Public areas include an impressive library that provides complimentary iPods. An extensive ocean-facing spa offers a wide range of massages and treatments, as well as a seafront meditation sala. Activities include scuba diving from the PADI-certified dive shop. The narrow private beach is pretty, but unsuitable for swimming at low tide, owing to a coral reef close to the shore.

"I found the level of service at Trisara to be adequate, but personally felt it fell short of the Aman levels of service I've experienced. Trisara's villas were excellent, the food met expectations and the property itself also met expectations. Having been there and enjoyed it, I would not return, but that's less of a slight on their service and more because there are so many other places I am looking forward to experiencing." August 2011
