Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

I completely agree with PamC as the restaurant and lounge were definitely the highlights. The food was easy but very tasty and all the guests were a pleasure to look at. The hotel seems to be in the best-dressed part of the city. Even the nearby Starbucks saw people with three-piece suits and pocket squares on a daily basis. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere as the hotel is so well positioned. The room interior was definitely outdated. We felt that our standard suite had a lovely balcony and view, but was small and had a surprisingly low ceiling.

The restaurant/lounge area was by far the best part. We had breakfast there (which was tasty) and got to sit by the window in big comfy, broken-in leather chairs. The doormen were very friendly and helpful. The beds were soft with great linens. The room itself was a little outdated as far as the furnishings go, but I understand that they are slowly renovating each room with new furniture/accessories to freshen things up. Great location too.

Recent 4 night stay at the Wedgewood was fantastic.  Great location downtown near the Art Gallery, shopping and resturants.  Service was over the top attentive and received all AH ammenties without mentioning it.   Our children are grown and we especially like quieter properties.  This was it.   Loved it and would definately return and highly recommend.
