This itinerary encompasses some of Andrew Harper’s favorite hideaways in New Zealand and some of the most sensationally scenic golf courses anywhere.

Cape Kidnappers

Day 1: Auckland-Kauri Cliffs
  • On arrival into Auckland you are met by your local Seasonz guide before being transferred by private vehicle to the domestic terminal for your flight to Kerikeri.
  • On arrival into Kerkeri you are met and transferred by private vehicle to Kauri Cliffs Lodge.
  • Set on 6,500 acres, Kauri Cliffs features an amazing golf course, plenty of light walks, private beaches and a wonderful spa.
  • Round of golf at Kauri Cliffs, a magnificent course set high on the cliff tops with fifteen holes that view the Pacific Ocean, six of which lie alongside cliffs plunging down to the sea.
 
Day 2: Bay of Islands
  • Luxury boat cruise through the world-famous Bay of Islands. Your private sailing catamaran offers a unique way to experience this breathtaking archipelago.
  • A long stopover in a sheltered cove allows plenty of time to enjoy a delicious lunch and participate in activities such as kayaking, swimming or exploring local islands and beaches.
Day 3: Kauri Cliffs
  • Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the many activities and attractions available in the Bay of Islands.
  • Enjoy another round of golf on your own, horseback riding, scenic helicopter flights, quad biking, nature hikes, and much more.
Day 4: KeriKeri-Hawke's Bay
  • Transfer by private vehicle to Kerikeri Airport for your flight to Napier, via Auckland.
  • Transfer by private vehicle to The Farm at Cape Kidnappers.
  • This luxurious lodge is located on a 6,000-acre working sheep and cattle farm where you can enjoy activities such as beautiful nature walks, golf, gannet bird safaris, "kiwi" discovery walks and the wonderful Cape Kidnappers Spa.
  • This afternoon enjoy a round of golf at Cape Kidnappers, a simply stunning Tom Doak golf course and the sister course to Kauri Cliffs in the Bay of Islands. This par-71 course is unlike anywhere else in golf, with holes positioned on the cliff edge, dropping away to the waves far below in Hawke's Bay. Cape Kidnappers was voted one of the top 50 courses in the world in 2007 by Golf Magazine.
Day 5: Hawke's Bay
  • "Best of the Bay" tour, tailored to your interests and focusing on the most exciting sights in Hawke's Bay.
  • Explore the diverse collection of art deco buildings in Napier.
  • Meet fascinating artists in their studios and view their works.
  • Visit creative producers on their land where you can taste, touch and smell the myriad of tantalizing products, including wine, they make from the deep soils.
  • Tour a rural coastal settlement and talk with a Maori who can provide a spiritual insight into her culture and demonstrate what it is that makes these indigenous people so special.
Day 6: Hawke's Bay
  • Today is at your leisure. You can take advantage of the many activities available on the property, try some fly fishing or have lunch at a nearby winery.
Day 7: Hawke's Bay-Queenstown
  • Transfer to Napier Airport for your flight to Queenstown.
  • Transfer to Matakauri Lodge, the sister property to Kauri Cliffs Lodge and The Farm at Cape Kidnappers. The luxurious suites are nestled in a native forest overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the mountains.
  • The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and settle into your beautiful new surroundings.
  • We recommend you explore the center of Queenstown with its diverse shops and activities. Perhaps head up the gondola to the top of Bob's Peak for an amazing view of the area — a great welcome to the adventure capital!

Milford Sound Helicopter Excursion

Day 8: Milford Sound
  • Transfer to Queenstown's airport for a Milford Sound Helicopter Excursion with a glacier landing. Mitre Peak beckons as your helicopter lifts off.
  • Get up close to some of the most astonishing mountains and glaciers in the Southern Alps before landing at Milford.
  • Depart Milford via the Harrison Valley to take in the beautiful blue-green icefalls as we land you exclusively on the Ngapunatoru Plateau of Mt. Tutoko.
  • Enjoy an alpine picnic in a secret wilderness location.
  • Transfer to Jack's Point Golf Course, an 18 hole, par-72 golf course designed by John Darby, the designer of The Hills, Millbrook and Clearwater golf courses. Set on Lake Wakatipu, Jack's Point is surrounded by the Remarkables mountain range, traversing through wetlands and steep bluffs to the lake's edge.
  • At the conclusion of your game you are transferred back to the lodge by private vehicle.
 
Day 9: Southern Alps
  • Transfer by private vehicle to The Hills Private Golf Club, nestled in the Southern Alps. Home to the New Zealand Open, The Hills is New Zealand's most exclusive golf club.
  • Playing in a setting such as The Hills is a dream come true for any avid golfer.
  • Transfer back to the lodge.
  • The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy the many activities and attractions in this scenic resort town: jet boating, bungy jumping, horseback riding, biking, winery tours, exploring artisan shops, and much more.
Day 10: Queenstown-Depart
  • Enjoy the day at leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport.
