New Zealand Lakes & Legends

An Andrew Harper Signature Tour, November 12-24, 2013

Update: Tour is sold out.
One of Andrew Harper’s favorite destinations is New Zealand, with breathtaking coastal and mountain scenery containing “some of the finest hideaways in the world.” This remarkable country, which Mr. Harper describes as “peaceful, hospitable and … blessedly detached from the planet’s woes,” has become a perennial favorite of our subscribers, as well.

Mr. Harper, therefore, wanted to make the Signature Tour to New Zealand (November 12-24) an especially memorable journey. It had to show off the best of these entrancing islands, as well as offer unique, exclusive experiences that individual travelers would have great difficulty arranging on their own. The resulting itinerary is an exploration of New Zealand like no other.

Limited to 16 people, New Zealand: Lakes & Legends includes a private yacht tour of the stupendously scenic Bay of Islands archipelago, a hangi (traditional feast) in a Maori village, a helicopter landing on a glacier, exclusive wine tastings and the opportunity to drive a classic luxury car from The Farm at Cape Kidnappers to the outskirts of Taupo, near Huka Lodge.

These properties are two of Mr. Harper’s top-ranked hideaways in the world. Guests on this Signature Tour also stay at The Spire in Queenstown and Kauri Cliffs in the Bay of Islands, two other properties that Mr. Harper highly recommends.

With its array of exclusive experiences and exquisite accommodations, this journey through New Zealand is sure to be one of our most exciting Signature Tours yet. If you’ve ever considered traveling to this enchanting country, now is the time to do it.
