Three Lyon Museums Not to Miss

Lyon has a variety of fascinating museums, which are a reflection of the city’s long history and great wealth. The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon is one of the encyclopedic museums of France; several of the city’s other museums reflect its past as a major textile-producing center; and the dramatic, recently opened Musée des Confluences celebrates the city’s strategic location at the junction of the Rhône and Saône rivers.
