The charming landmark Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada hotel is comprised of six historic residences near the main plaza of San Miguel de Allende. The 37 lodgings, many with beamed ceilings and fireplaces, are individually decorated with regional arts and crafts and are outfitted in assorted period furnishings. The largest suites are in the Casa Palma annex, granting convenient access to the 50-foot garden pool; most include private terraces and plunge pools. The Casa Parque annex, composed of a restored mansion bordering tranquil Benito Juárez Park, includes the elegant Andanza restaurant, set in a colonial-style dining room, as well as an atmospheric bar with a log fireplace. Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada also has a spa, traditional temazcal steam bath and cooking school; horseback riding, golf and tennis nearby.
