Our Review of The Inn Above Tide:
Tucked away on a cul-de-sac overlooking San Francisco Bay in Sausalito, this three-story brown-shingle structure belies the exceptional lodgings within. Among the 31 rooms and suites, the stylishly designed Grand Deluxe rooms contain understated furnishings and woodburning fireplaces, with the waters of the bay sparkling through glass doors that lead onto teak-furnished private decks. Baths with granite counters provide soaking tubs. The inn has no restaurant, but serves an extensive breakfast buffet, as well as wine and cheese each afternoon. For dinner, the neighborhood provides numerous options. Although there is no gym or pool, in-room spa services are available.
