From Andrew Harper:
Idyllic refuge set on a peninsula between a protected bay and a long, unspoiled Atlantic beach on Nantucket. The lavishly restored landmark hotel offers 32 generally small but distinctively appointed guest quarters, plus several cottage suites. Third-floor units 301, 302 and 303 offer the best sea views. Public areas include an inviting library-lounge, spa and gourmet restaurant, TOPPER’S, featuring seasonal cuisine and fresh seafood. Guests enjoy tennis, all the usual water sports and sea cruises. From the mainland, Nantucket is reached from Hyannis by car ferry (2½ hours) or high-speed passenger ferry (one hour); air service is also available from major cities. No children under age 12.
Closed November-early May.
